THE WORKING FAMILY HAS BEEN HURT BY THE CURRENT LEGISLATURE AND HAVE LESS MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS AS A RESULT. IT'S TIME TO PUT THE PRIORITY BACK TO PEOPLE INSTEAD OF POLITICS AND LOBBYISTS."

INFRASTRUCTURE
Rapid housing growth has brought new energy and opportunity to our community, but our infrastructure has not kept pace. Residents feel the strain every day. Roads are more congested, schools are more crowded, and essential services are stretched too thin. It’s time for a proactive, responsible plan to invest in the infrastructure that supports our growth. By upgrading transportation networks, expanding utilities, and ensuring public services can meet rising demand, we can protect quality of life while sustaining economic momentum. Smart infrastructure investment isn’t just about catching up, it’s about planning ahead, so our community remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family for years to come.
TAXES
Anderson County has had a massive increase in revenue through taxes, as a result of rapid housing developments. While the current council keeps approving these developments, they have not improved the infrastructure to handle all the new people. As a result, my opponent tried to increase taxes further on Anderson County to pay for it. This is poor management and foresight. Anderson County has enough funds to reduce Property and Vehicle Taxes while also vastly improving it's infrastructure. I will lead the effort to lower these taxes at the County Level while also calling on the State Legislature to abolish all Property Taxes as I believe it hinders one's right to own property. None of this will result in less funding for schools in the county.
CREATING PARTERSHIPS
I will work to grow our county’s revenue the right way, without raising taxes, by building smart partnerships and making better use of the resources we already have. That means collaborating with private investors to deliver critical infrastructure through responsible public-private partnerships, bringing projects to life without placing the burden on taxpayers. I will also fight to secure our fair share of state funding by aligning our priorities with proven programs and aggressively pursuing grants that support roads, public safety, and economic development.
At the same time, I will strengthen cooperation between the county and our cities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency through shared services and joint initiatives. By attracting new businesses, supporting responsible growth, and making better use of county-owned assets, we can expand our revenue base naturally without increasing tax rates. My commitment is simple: fiscal responsibility, smarter government, and a growing economy that works for everyone.
JOBS
Lastly, I want to bring higher paying skilled jobs to Anderson county. Anderson was once a place in which people loved to visit. However, over the years, Anderson County has lost out to Greenville in that category. Greenville has grown and offers many opportunities for skilled jobs while Anderson has slowly gone downhill. This is because the politicians in this county have not fought hard enough to bring those jobs here and that can no longer be accepted.
